5Ampa Skywalk

Skywalk is one of the dominant malls in Chennai and it is situated in Nelson Manickam road, Nungambakkam which is easily accessible by bus, train and own vehicles. Many prefers this mall to watch movies in PVR cinemas followed by lunch/dinner. Food outlets like KFC, McDonalds, Dominos, Pizza Hut are present across floors but clothing outlets are very few. The mall is not maintained well compared to forum mall, phoenix mall or EA. Air conditioning is very low and escalators are mostly under maintenance. Car parking is charged Rs.30 for each hour on weekends, which is acceptable. Overall this mall is recommended for watching movies in PVR. For purchase of apparels it is better to visit Forum mall or EA or phoenix.

6Chennai Citi Centre

City centre has a mix for entertainment including shopping, cinemas, restaurants, and kids play area. Ground floor have few toy rides for kids with decent price. 4th floor has a fun city , the play area for kids with various activities. We need to purchase a fun city card to use inside this facility with a cost of minimum 500 INR, and it can be recharged for further uses. The food court with few restaurants like mcDonald and KFC are in the same floor. People can opt to eat here or can have the food in open air on rooftop. Rooftop also has a section for playing cricket under nets.

This is one of the oldest malls in Chennai but don't be so quick to dismiss it. It's a beautiful quaint mall with a tonne of shops offering beautiful pashmina shawls, Kashmiri & Indian artifacts, kurtis and sarees. Good spot for bargaining and buying in bulk. Shop assistants are very helpful and even send your clothes for tailoring then and there if there are minor adjustments to be made.A amazing place for anybody to spend time eating and shopping. Though there are numerous Malls in Chennai city this oldest mall offers everything from branded wears to local wears in a most moderate cost. Food, salon, mobile accessories, clothes, sunglass, shoes. A complete place with lots to shop and eat. This mall does not have a cinema hall. But it's got all that you need in a cheaper price. Oldest mall in Chennai. Still a hot place for normal folks to spend a good evening.

8Bergamo Mall

Bergamo is a shopping mall located in Nungambakkam, Chennai, India. It is located on Khader Nawaz Khan Road and spread over 40,000 sq.ft. The mall opened in August 2012 with Louis Vuitton as its first store. The mall is designed by DSP architects and built by KKA Buildtech at a cost of ₹10 Crore. It is considered to be the first luxury mall in Chennai, and the third in India. The building is designed to house 24 stores, each with an area ranging from 1600 sq.ft to 2000 sq.ft. The Grand Square Mall in Velachery is yet another entrant in the ever growing metropolis of Chennai. Its food court has outlets selling dishes of good quality at a reasonable price. It is yet to be well patronized and so less crowded.
